Dont leave notes for friends or services people as buglers will see this and react. Burglars like workinin the dark of if you door is not lighted then who not install an automatic light. Always put away you tools and other vauable that are handing about around the house. Put them out of the way in a locked shed. Be careful with you garden. If you have trees near your house burglars can use them to enter open or weak windows. If sales person of officials arrive at your door make sure to check there qualifications. If someone comes asking for you to contact the police leave them outside and contact the police for them yourself. Think about keepin a dog. They are good for deterring burglars. Dogs can be trained to only make noise when strangers arrive.

Security Doors

Put a deadbold on your door. Watch out for doors that have a lot fo space between the door and the frame. You can reinforce the door with extra wood also. Make sure you hire a carpenter and dont try and do it yourself. You can often create security problem by trying to do these things yourself.

The hinges of your door should be inside the door and not on the outside. If you dont a burgar can remove the door by taking out the hinge bar. This is a very commen way of door entry burglaries.

Garage Doors
